14-16 October 2015, Seville/Spain

On behalf of the EUROSHNET organizing committee, I have the honour of inviting you to the 5th European conference on standardization, testing and certification in the field of occupational safety and health (OSH).

The conference under the heading

Improving the quality of working life
– A challenge for standardization, testing and certification

will be held in Seville from 14 to 16 October 2015.

It is aimed at manufacturers and users of products, European and national authorities, OSH experts, and other stakeholders having an interest in health and safety at work.

The focus of the 5th conference organised by the EUROSHNET network will be on the need to create conditions for improving the quality of working life in a rapidly changing world: how can standardization, testing and certification contribute? Which pitfalls should be avoided?

With your support and cooperation we shall find ways to complete the jigsaw puzzle of the numerous - and sometimes contradictory - requirements that we must face in the next 10 years.

As the Director of INSHT, it will be my great pleasure to welcome you to the beautiful city of Seville to try and meet that challenge.

Ma Dolores Limón Tamés
Director of the Instituto Nacional de Seguridad e Higiene en el Trabajo (INSHT)
